United Methodist Men

The United Methodist Men is a creative fellowship of men who declare the centrality of Christ in their lives through Discipleship, Evangelism and the Word of God, seek to witness Christ as Lord and Savior in the lives of others.

The Purpose of the UMM is to be a creative supportive fellowship of men who seek to know Jesus Christ, to grow spiritually and to see daily His will. We encourage knowledge and support for the total mission of the United Methodist Church; engage in evangelism by sharing the fullness of the gospel in personal and social dimensions; clarify and speak to the identity and role of the man in contemporary society; seek commitment to discipleship; study and come familiar with The United Methodist Church, its organization, doctrines and beliefs; and cooperate with all units of United Methodist Men in obtaining these objectives through district, conference, jurisdiction and church-wide goals.

Here at Christ UMC, our United Methodist Men meet every second Thursday of each month. Our members range in age from 19 to 80 and the spiritual maturity from infant to profound. What we all have in common, however, is to make our church grow and for us to grow closer to God. We made a covenant that includes trust, confidentiality, faithfulness, commitment, prayer and accountability to one another.
